Glenalmond offers a wide range of floor screed products and services.

Every project has different requirements, from acoustic performance, to different thickness and drying time requirements, to speed of installation. We have a vast experience in floor screeds and acoustic performance, and can help in your choice of specification and selection of products.
We can install screeds up to 2500m2 per day, or screeds that can accept floor coverings after a few hours.
Dedicated to product quality, and customer satisfaction, Glenalmond has chosen to heavily invest in a wholly owned, world class, state of the art, highly efficient and environmentally responsible production facility. Coupled with access to some of the country’s highest quality cements and aggregates, we have complete control over our supply chain and are pleased to be able to offer the same quality products to concrete and screed users.
We are able to put you in contact with one of our Industry Partners to install Concrete floors to meet your requirements.
We have been using Glenalmond Contracts now for a number of years over various developments we have carried out in the Angus and Tayside area. I find the service from them to be to a very good standard right from the communication involved with booking in the work, to them turning up onsite and carrying out the work. All to a professional standard. We have a purchaser moving up from England to buy one of our Inverkeilor properties who himself is involved in the building trade and he couldn’t believe the finish on the floor having used a cemfloor screed finish. Self Collection
Utilising our very efficient computer controlled central mixer, we are able to offer a prompt quality product to small builders, or other contractors with the ability to self-collect aggregates or ready mixed concrete, from a convenient city centre location.
Major Contracts
With our state of the art central twin shaft mixer, we can provide large hourly and daily volume of high and super high strength concretes suitable for every project in the Dundee region. On large projects, we work hand in hand with construction materials giant Aggregate Industries PLC (Bardon Concrete) who provide technical support, and can deal with your enquiry and order.
General Construction
Utilising the highest quality cements and aggregates, we can deliver to you exactly the mix you require for any project at a competitive price. We would be pleased to deal direct, however if you have trading terms with Aggregate Industries PLC (Bardon Concrete) they can deal with your enquiry and order.
Floor Screeds
The plant was built to provide high quality flowing calcium sulphate and semi dry cement based floor screeds to the parent company, and we would be pleased to offer these products at competitive prices to the marketplace, as material supply only, or installed in your project.
Acoustic Flooring Systems
We supply and install a range of Acoustic Flooring Systems suitable for projects such as flatted developments, nursing homes and schools. We are able to offer advice for both traditional and timber kit constructions.
Flooring Grade Insulation
We can provide a competitive price to supply and fit any flooring grade insulation, whether it is required for thermal (u-value) or acoustic performance. We can also incorporate geo-textile membranes to aid securing of the pipework for under floor heating.

We have a great deal of experience in this field and can provide u-value calculations on your development if required.
Resin Flooring
Combining colour, gloss, functionality, durability and design nothing transforms environments quite like a bold, bright and vivacious floor finish from a range of manufacturers. It’s a well-known fact that after walls, floors represent the largest component in an interior design scheme. In this way, they offer an excellent platform to make a bold statement underfoot.
Many types of floor finish are available, such as Decorative floor systems, using Quartz and Peran floor flakes, or Smooth Flooring Systems available in contemporary colours for a glamorous finish, through to ‘Rustic’ stone carpet bringing the natural beauty of the outdoors inside to deliver a seamless and ergonomic stone carpet.

Underfloor Heating
Under floor heating is the heating system of choice for many new projects, from self build homes to PPP schools. This is due to its lower energy consumption and running costs, and its controllability. Since most renewable energy systems do not generate high water temperatures, underfloor heating is the natural choice for compatibility with new energy production systems.

Through our chosen industry partners, we can offer a service from installation of your choice of underfloor heating, to fully supplied and commissioned heating and hot water systems including Ground Source Heat Pumps, Air Source Heat Pumps, Hot Water Solar Panels through to Wood Chip burners and Wood Stoves.
Underfloor heating is generally laid in a protective floor screed, which also acts as a radiator to evenly distribute the heat throughout the floor, and therefore the room.
